Care for Seniors, Care for America

Because dignity in aging depends on stability in care.

America’s seniors rely on trusted caregivers every day. When that care is disrupted, the consequences ripple far beyond individual households — affecting families, healthcare systems, and communities nationwide.

We are asking Congress and the Administration to protect trusted caregivers’ ability to work legally — and create reliable, long-term work permit pathways so seniors and families aren’t left without care.

Senior care depends on continuity.

For older adults, care is not just about services, it is about familiarity, routine, and trust. Sudden changes in caregivers can increase confusion, anxiety, and health risks, especially for seniors with complex medical needs or cognitive decline.

When experienced caregivers are forced out of the workforce, continuity breaks — and seniors pay the price.

A fragile care system puts seniors — and families — at risk.

Across the country, senior care providers are facing growing workforce instability. When experienced caregivers are forced out of the workforce, seniors are often the first to feel the consequences,  disrupted routines, reduced access to care, and longer wait times for services.

Even small workforce losses can have massive impacts on quality of care and burden families already navigating complex care needs.
